Bob Krewitt
Bob KrewittDirector of Safety and HR
Bob Krewett has been a part of the Cowen Team since 1986 as the Director of Safety. In addition to being our Director, he is certified as an outreach instructor with the United States Department of Labor, Occupational Safety and Health Administration Training Institute. Bob also serves as an instructor for the Construction Management Department at Oklahoma State University in the areas of jobsite safety standards.

Compliance with company safety policies and site specific safety requirements is monitored and verified by daily observation of the job site management staff. This is supplemented by random job site safety inspections which are conducted by the Director of Safety. Project specific potential hazards are identified for each individual project, then the operations team along with the Director of Safety agree upon means and methods to eliminate, reduce and/or adequately manage any potential hazards. All project field employees are made aware of site specific safety procedures and concerns through daily operational “quarterback meetings,” and through weekly safety meetings, both of which are conducted by the project management staff and the Safety Director. The Director of Safety is included in the pre-construction planning phase along with the operations team.
